Julie Gagnon is a member of the Quebec Bar since 1992 and of the Ontario Bar since 1997. Her practice focuses on corporate and commercial law and she specialises in the purchase and sale of businesses, the drafting and negotiation of financing and other commercial contracts, and employment law. She graduated with an International Baccalaureate from the Petit Séminaire de Québec and studied civil law at Laval University and common law at the University of Western Ontario. She also attended the University of Alberta and holds a Licence spéciale in European Law from the University of Brussels (ULB) in Belgium. She is a Rotary International Scholar. She has been legal counsel at a Canadian chartered bank and has practiced commercial litigation with a major Montreal firm. She is a member of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal.
