Ricardo’s practice focuses primarily on real estate law and real estate financing, municipal law and commercial law, as well as civil, commercial and administrative litigation. He regularly promotes and defends the rights of his clients against municipal and governmental bodies. He has a solid reputation in negotiating and settling disputes, as well as litigating complex issues. In addition to negotiating and drafting contracts, commercial leases, options and offers, he assists his clients in obtaining necessary regulatory authorizations, permits and zoning changes. His experience as a former mayor of the Town of Mount Royal provides a cutting edge advantage to Ricardo’s practice in these areas.
Ricardo was called to the Quebec Bar in 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Civil Law degree from UQÀM University, a Bachelor’s degree in business management from HEC Montréal (Hautes Études Commerciales), as well as a diploma from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI).
Ricardo is fluent in both French and English.
